Call for Demos

The e-Leot demonstrations program provides an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your achievements and research. Demo proposals should focus on e-learning initiatives related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) disciplines; they can range from innovative ways to present information, to interactive technologies simulating experiments, to technologies and methodologies to deliver content to students (or to encourage them to produce content), and many more.

Submissions

All demonstration submissions must be within two pages and should:

  • explain what features and scenarios will be demonstrated
  • describe the system and the technology
  • state the significance of the contribution.

In addition, as an option, authors can submit a short (3 minutes) video illustrating the demonstration scenario. The accompanying video must be in MPEG format.

Criteria

Demonstrations will be selected based on several criteria that may appear contradictory: on one side, we will appreciate feasibility in real-school scenarios (with poor technical equipment, lack of resources and competences), while on the other side, imaginative, innovative, and “awe” raising proposals will be also taken into consideration, in that they can highlight future possible developments.

The proposal should describe clearly what the audience will see and how it can interact with the system.
